US 52 Bus Rapid Transit Study
The US 52 Corridor is an important connection between North Charleston, Goose Creek, and Moncks Corner. Its proximity to
Charleston and North Charleston makes it attractive for residential and employment development, increasing the demand for upgraded infrastructure and additional residences.
Berkeley-Charleston-Dorchester Council of Governments is evaluating improvements to TriCounty Link service and the feasibility of introducing a Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system
along this corridor to accommodate the area’s significant growth and improve transit services.
