Public Notice – Proposed Major Amendment to the BCDCOG 208 Water Quality Management Plan
Kiawah Resort Associates, L.P. is seeking an amendment to the BCDCOG 208 Water Quality Management Plan for the construction of a Non-Discharge Wastewater Treatment Facility that will serve a proposed golf course community with up to 120 residences and ancillary facilities. The proposed project is located in unincorporated Charleston County.
The Public Meeting will be held on May 19, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Community Room at the John’s Island Library, 3531 Maybank Highway, Johns Island, SC 29455. The proposed amendment will be considered for approval by the BCDCOG following public review. All questions and comments on the proposed amendment must be received in writing by 6:00 p.m. on May 29, 2026.
