The State of South Carolina has prepared a substantial amendment to the 2020 Annual Action Plan for the
CARES Act for CDBG‐CV. No new funding is available. Instead unobligated funds originally allocated to the
Short‐term Housing Assistance Program are being reallocated to the Direct Public Services Program, under
which the State will act directly, through eligible subrecipients, to help address food related and
potentially other needs persisting in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic. ESG‐CV is also receiving
additional funding and this amendment increases available funding. The draft Amendment will be
available for review for 7 days from November 7, 2022 until November 13, 2022.
